Professor Ali Wardak has been invited to join the Advisory Board of Hebron University Research Journal.

Advisory Board of Hebron University Research Journal is a body  of senior international academics - especially those with expertise  in the Middle East - that advises the journal about the quality of its articles, dissemination among academics and policy makers, future directions and holding international conferences.

Professor Wardak was nominated by professors in his field in appreciation of his impressive academic research.

The role will entail the review of articles  received by the journal for publication and potential collaboration in his area of expertise. Professor Wardak has already conducted joint field research with the Dean of  Hebron University's Law Faculty and the research was published at a prestigious  international journal in 2018.

"I really feel honored  to be invited  by Hebron University Research Journal to join its Advisory Board," said Professor Wardak. "I look forward to collaborating  with  researchers  in Palestine and the wider Middle East. I am especially interested in contributing to collaborative research that focuses  on bridging existing gaps between Western and Middle Eastern academic scholarships."

Professor Wardak is currently  working on a joint British  Academy funded research project with Professor Kate Williams and Dr Palash Kamaruzzaman on  violence and dignity among the  Rohingyas in Bangladesh and IDPs in Afghanistan.

The research  project is at an advance stage, and Professor Wardak hopes to complete it by December this year.
