Mike Maguire a Professor in Criminology was invited to be a keynote speaker at The Institute of Criminology at Cambridge University for the celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the Butler Trust.
The Butler Trust is a major charity set up by Lord Butler, the former Home Secretary, to celebrate and recognise good practice by people working with offenders, in prisons and outside.
Presentations were delivered by an array of international experts which shows Mike’s highly credited expertise and reputation within the field. His presentation focused on The Rehabilitation and Resettlement of Prisoners: Thoughts on Offender Management and Cultural Change, and was delivered to almost 250 delegates from across UK prisons, probations and youth justice as well as HRH, The Princess Royal who is the Trust’s Royal Patron.
